With a population of 100 Mio Shandong achieves a GDP of about 500 billion US$ and is therefore the 2nd ranked province in China. Jinan is located on the High Speed Train line from Shanghai to Beijing. All 20min there is a connecting train to Beijing (90min distance) or Shanghai (3.5 hours distance). Since Shanghai and Beijing are too expensive for many business activities and establishment of new factories is not possible due to space restrictions, Jinan is an ideal location for customers who want their manufacturing operations in close vicinity to their customers or sales & marketing organization in Beijing/Shanghai.
